Online Articles

Our newsletter, Just Picked!, is a great resource for information related to organic fruit-growing. We publish research summaries, how-to articles, book reviews, grower perspectives. They are here to learn from, to enjoy, and to share with others.

Newsletter Archives

We have been publishing our newsletter since the beginnings of the association, back when we started as Organic Tree Fruit Association. You can find copies of our old newsletters here, downloadable in pdf format. Most of our articles are as relevant to fruit-growing today as they were many years ago - the event announcements, lists of opportunities for farmers will give you ideas about what outside resources are available to help you in your fruit-growing journey, and most events continue today with more and more like-minded people attending; grants are available year after year. Check out the archives to gain information, ideas, and connect with our community!

Thank you for reading! If you have any questions for our authors, get in touch with us!

Submission requirements: if you are a fruit grower yourself, or if you have a unique perspective on the industry, get in touch with us to submit articles to our newsletter!

Orchardists, hobby gardeners, customers and those just beginning to explore fruit growing use our online resources to discuss topics related to organic fruit production, marketing, and policy.

Learn from experienced fruit growers and industry professionals, access current research, find and share resources, and network with other members through seminars, workshops, field days and our quarterly newsletter, Just Picked!
